No doubt about it – all
health experts recommend regular exercise to regain or
sustain health and well being. There is no such thing
really as fitness “craze” its part of a healthy
lifestyle. Our hectic schedules, however, often
preclude many of us from dedicating time to journey to a
nearby gym or fitness center.
How wonderful for our
area that there exists East Coast Fitness Store, located
on 455 Route 9 South in Englishtown, next to Weichert
Realty between Union Hill and Gordons Corner. New
owner, Joe Dalzell is a veteran fitness equipment
industry sales executive and consultant, and is
passionate about helping people live healthier, more
robust lives. Dalzell was employed in this same spot 15
years ago when it was known as Brunswick Fitness. His
close friendship with the former owner led to his taking
it over.
East Coast Fitness Store
sells everything from full home gyms to free weights and
accessories, and all types of equipment in between, such
as the popular treadmills and elliptical, Plus, Dalzell
notes, his establishment specializes in service,
outstanding warranties, and parts replacement. “Department stores simply sell the equipment, but they
offer very little by way of service, warranties or
parts. Our prices are comparable and our service is
exceptional.”
Adding home fitness
equipment for many may be daunting and intimidating at
first, especially when it comes to installing a home gym
of any size. If your physician has recommended strength
and cardio fitness and you don’t want to join a gym.
East Coast Fitness Store has alliances with professional
personal trainers who can teach you how to use your
equipment and set you up on a personalized program.
New and available at
East Coast Fitness Store are recumbent elliptical bikes,
which Dalzell says are new the fitness industry. He
recommends to come into the 2,400-square-foot showroom
and try the various bikes to see what feels best. “For
many people, it’s all about the feel, the comfort, “he
says.
